April's Charity - 42nd Street

We have some exciting news! Every single month we will be donating 10% of our profits and all the tips at the checkout to a different local charity. This April, we are so excited to be supporting 42nd Street. We will tell you a little bit about this fantastic Manchester-based charity as well as some information about how we can support them together!

42nd Street 42nd Street is an innovative charity based in Greater Manchester, with a 40-year history of supporting young people. This incredible charity has a vision to help and support 11-25 year olds with their mental health and emotional well-being. They provide young people with free counselling, therapy and access to support groups. In their art and community programme, 42nd street provide opportunities to help young people explore their issues, tell their stories, break down stigmas and produce beautiful works of art! Despite the restrictions over the past year, 42nd Street continued to support young people more than ever. The charity offered online and virtual services, allowing young people to continue accessing their support groups during lockdown. Their Objectives:

• To improve well-being and recovery
• To increase opportunities for young people to shape their own care and influence change
• To improve and increase inclusion and accessibility
• To increase awareness and reduce stigma

ARTEMIS' Contribution We are so grateful that each and every one of you have allowed us to do this - through your orders, we are now in a position to be able to support our community and help as much as we can! 42nd Street do incredible work and provide so much guidance and support to young people suffering with their mental health. We have chosen them as our first charity, not only as they are a local charity to us, but because they are doing such an amazing job for such an important cause. Each month will be a different local charity so we can support as many different causes as we can and you can learn more about each charity on our Instagram highlights and right here on our blog. We will also be announcing exactly how much has been raised for each charity at the end of the month on our Instagram stories!
